Growing up fast {Part 3}

30th March 2016

Documenting my daughter growing this year is a project I decided to do, to see if I could spot subtle changes. Suddenly our children change and somehow we miss it because we are with them everyday. I thought it’d take at least 6 months to start seeing this, how wrong I was! So here we are, my third session at home with her. This blog is a tad late, we did this the first week of March!

March 2016 – The discovery of a “spider” and a wrap nap….

Oh the satisfaction of a successful wrap to sofa transfer! Her brothers were at school and preschool this day so I sat in the silence with tea and a vanilla crown. Ok two, I ate two! I love to watch her sleep and of course I could’ve done some chores of some description but a quiet recharge is equally important. I don’t recall being particularly tired, sometimes you just need to sit. Sit still, nobody touching you!

She’s learnt a new skill, coming down the stairs on her own! She was bumping down on her bum but now walks down one step at a time. As you can see, she’s very pleased with herself.

We always like to have a play in her brothers room, plus I love the light in there! Happily looking out the window spotting dogs then suddenly “Ahhhhhh Bider!” She does love to make a fuss, she’s not scared at all and always laughs afterwards. Only it wasn’t a spider, in fact just a tiny piece of black fluff!

How is it almost April already?! That means it’s time for part 4 next week! This year is going crazy fast as is her development. I’m fully aware I now have 3 children, rather than 2 and a baby. Lots of crazy times ahead! Now this last one I just love. It’s perfectly imperfect and I love it so so much because this is her looking at me, full of love…
